A Service of Lessons & Carols

The First United Methodist Church of Shickshinny will hold its 17th annual Service of Lessons and Carols at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2024.

The service consists of Christmas-related scripture readings alternating with choral music and congregational singing of Christmas carols.

The choral music will be provided by the Shickshinny Area Community Choir under the direction of Raphael Micca and Cindy Rupp.

There is no admission charge. A free-will offering will be taken to support the choir and the church.

There will be a reception in the church social hall following the concert. The church is located at the corner of Rt. 11 and Butler St. in Shickshinny.
