Mandy* writes often to tell us about the work God is doing in her life and her family’s life through the ministry of WRGN. She often shares how much the Bible teaching, encouragement, and uplifting Christian music on WRGN have impacted her.

Thousands of listeners’ lives have been changed by WRGN’s ministry. There are so many more stories like Mandy’s. WRGN exists to support our listeners in their day-to-day walk with Christ. However, there are so many more people in our local community to reach. The need is great, and we need your help.

As a financial supporter of WRGN, you help broadcast over 30 hours of Bible teaching every week from nationally recognized pastors like Dr. David Jeremiah. You provide encouraging words from speakers like Joni Eareckson Tada and Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. You bring over 25 hours of news and current events to radio, presented through a biblical perspective. You provide teaching tailored to young people of every age—from the littlest listeners to young adults. You help broadcast countless hours of great Christian music from today’s top artists. But most of all, with your support, we can be part of our local community daily. We enjoy being part of your day during Wake Up Right, The Lunch Break, Refresh & Renew. We also like promoting local events and supporting local ministries. We love our community!

This October, we are celebrating the 40 th anniversary of WRGN. Since 1984, WRGN has been broadcasting the Good News of Jesus Christ to our local community and beyond. Over the past 40 years, we have seen His faithfulness working through generations of listeners and supporters, including you. Your support has been instrumental in His provision for our needs. 

With your help, we proclaim the name of Jesus Christ and have placed the future of WRGN on the Firm Foundation of Christ. As we celebrate the past 40 years and look to Him for our future, we confidently ask, “Why would He fail now?” And we know the  answer is “He won’t!”

He will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord will be your treasure. (Is 33:6) 

That is what the song “Firm Foundation” proclaims, and it is the theme for this year’s Share-A-Thon, October 16-18, 2024. It takes over $600 a day to bring our music and programming to you, listeners like Mandy, and countless new listeners WRGN reaches every year. Our Share-A-Thon goal is $190,000, which is just a portion of WRGN’s operating budget. As we celebrate 40 years, join us in the ministry by prayerfully considering what donation or faith promise you can make toward our goal. You don’t need to wait until Share-A-Thon to give your support. Early giving helps us begin Share-A-Thon with momentum, starting strong and propelling us into a successful three days on air!
