Learn and grow at The Good News Library!

Thousands of books line the shelves of the Good News Library. These books consist of the finest works released by Christian authors, from classics to brand new releases. Fiction, Bible study aids, reference, Christian living, marriage and parenting, biography, and children’s books are just a few of the many categories available. In addition to books, there are also hundreds of DVDs and audiobooks ready to be borrowed. With nearly 15,000 items in our library, there is something for every age and interest.

The Good News Library runs periodic reading challenges for kids, hosts author events, and continually adds new releases. We also offer a used book store with several hundred titles.

The Good News Library has an easy-to-use lending system. Membership is $5 per year – pastors are FREE. That fee allows you to take five items home with you at a time. Books may be borrowed for 30 days, and audio & videos for 14 days. Book & CD late fees are $0.25/day and movie late fees are $2/day. The mail box in the front of the WRGN studios allows returns 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

The library is open weekdays from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.

January 2025

January is often when we think about making healthy changes for a new year. That’s why this January’s library theme is New Year, New You! You’ll find books on display focused on healthy eating, a healthy prayer life, healthy relationships, and more! As part of this theme, The Good News Library has some new books to help you develop healthy habits.

The Unplugged Hours, by Hannah Brencher, teaches you to be more present with others in a digital world. Brencher urges readers to trade the fast pace of technology for a steadier, more rooted way of living. She calls
this “unplugged time.”

In Every Home a Foundation, author Phylicia Masonheimer invites readers to rethink “home.” She urges them to change it from a boring place to one of purpose. She teaches readers how to find joy in their daily tasks
and equips them to use their home to love others well.

This winter, The Good News Library is holding a reading challenge for our young readers! Kids will decorate the library windows with a snowflake for every book they read from December to February. Whoever reads the most books wins a prize! It’s never too late to join in the fun or encourage your kids to love reading. Stop by The Good News Library and stock up on books to cozy up with on cold winter days! Library hours are weekdays 8:30am-4:30pm. Books may be borrowed for 30 days and audio and DVD items may be borrowed for two weeks.
