I love the way Paul opens and closes his letters to the churches in the New Testament. In the beginning of many of his letters, he addresses them as beloved, as saints, as those who are sanctified (made holy), as faithful brothers. It is with these greetings in mind that I write to each of you in this month's letter.
Treasured Moments in Black History is a two-minute weekday radio special for the month of February, Black History Month. This special program remembers the people and events in America that have shaped history and inspired lives. By looking back and highlighting these moments, you will be inspired, enriched, and encouraged in your faith walk to make history for God’s kingdom.

We often feel overworked and overrun, defeated, and discouraged. The world says be productive so that you can get all you can out of this life. The Bible says be productive so you can gain more of the next life. In his new book Redeeming Productivity: Getting More Done for the Glory of God, author Reagan Rose explores how God's glory is the purpose for which He planted us, and he shows how productivity must be firmly rooted in the gospel. Only through our connection to Christ—the True Vine—are we empowered to produce good fruit.
Take some time during this season to cultivate a heart of gratitude and reflect on the goodness and faithfulness of our generous God! WRGN is here to help by providing some encouraging and inspiring programs, as well as music to serve as your Thanksgiving Day soundtrack–one more thing you can check off your list!
