From Us to You – February 2025

Some husbands will be buying their wives a box of chocolates for Valentine’s Day, something sweet for their sweet. I guess I get off easy, because Heather prefers the peanut M&M’s, but the pink and red ones that you can only get in February!

Love seems to come to the forefront in February, but for us as believers, it’s a year-round thing! In fact, the scripture says that it is one of the ways that the world will know that we are followers of Christ. “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35

The idea seems easy, the application, not so much! Many times, the problem is the way we view love. Emotions are the primary way that the world views love. The butterflies in the stomach, the flutter in the heart, and yes, the flowers and chocolate. But emotions come and go.

The Bible, on the other hand, talks about love as sacrifice, service, and a whole host of other things from 1 Corinthians 13. It concludes by saying that it always perseveres…it doesn’t come and go.

Here at WRGN, we are thankful for each of you who show love by partnering with us each month in your sacrificial giving so that others can hear the true message of love found in the Bible. We couldn’t do what we do without you! The impact of this kind of love can make a difference in someone’s life for eternity! Thank you!
