We’re excited for our RadioGram’s new look! For the past 35 years, we have been keeping you up-to-date with what’s happening at WRGN through this monthly newsletter, while also providing a written history of WRGN throughout it’s roughly 400 issues! The new format also allows us to print in color for about the same cost.
You probably also noticed our brand new logo! This has been in the works for quite some time, and celebrating our 35th year of broadcasting seemed like just the right time to unveil it. We have seen many changes in technology and the way audio is delivered, such as online streaming, smartphones, and smart speakers. WRGN strives to stay current with every advance in technology so that we can minister effectively!
Our new logo reflects the changing face of media, while retaining elements of our original logo. Our call letters are now more rounded and mimic the shape of the microphone. The microphone itself has several interesting elements, including the impression of earphones, bringing to mind the way much of our media is consumed today. The negative space below the microphone capsule also creates a smile, lending a friendly warmth to the new logo. We maintained the three radiants from the original logo in a slightly different form factor, similar to familiar Wi-Fi icons.
While the new logo may reflect the changing face of media, what will not change is WRGN’s commitment as We Radiate Good News, the basis for our call letters. We will remain Your Good News Network as we continue to do the work God has called us to do here in Northeastern Pennsylvania and beyond. Thank you for partnering with us in this ministry!
